In return for your generous donations, you will receive exposure within our school community and the Garden Hills neighborhood.

TWO WAYS YOUR RESTAURANT CAN SUPPORT GHES

1. Gift Card Donation

Donate a gift card to your restaurant as an auction item for our annual Evening in the Garden fundraiser on April 24, 2026. You are welcome to email an electronic version of the gift card to acornstooaks@gardenhillselementary.org or we would be happy to pick it up at your convenience.

2. Become a Business Partner

Become a business partner to get visibility throughout the year to our GHES and greater Garden Hills community.

Or a bit of both! Supporter packages below based on total value of donation.

HOW YOUR GIFT HELPS GROW AN ACORN TO A MIGHTY OAK…

Acorns to Oaks operates entirely on contributions from the Garden Hills Elementary community including businesses, charitable foundations, GHES families and alumni.

Acorns to Oaks Funds the following enrichment programs:

  • Off-Site Field Trips for All Grades Traditional funding sources to support off-site field trips are unavailable this year, Acorns to Oaks is prioritizing funding to ensure that all grades get to experience a off-site field trip for hands on learning and experiences.
  • Orton-Gillingham Approach teacher training. This program is based on a multisensory approach to learning that combines auditory, kinesthetic, and visual techniques with the structure of the English language to benefit not only students with learning challenges such as dyslexia, but to promote language capabilities for all learners.
  • SmartLAB STEM Modules to enhance our new SmartLAB with additional hands-on learning activities to support STEM curriculum.
  • Learning technology. Including funding technology subscriptions such as Horizons, iXL, Bookflix and NSync to provide personalized learning opportunities for students.
  • Specialized teacher grants for teaching professionals seeking additional materials and resources that support areas of study, special projects and grade level initiatives in their classroom..
  • Dual Language Immersion Program Support. Tools, professional development and instructional materials that support rigorous language and content instruction daily in English and Spanish for all grades, Pre-K through 5th.
